About Bryant Hawkins

My name's Bryant Hawkins. I'm a photojournalist for "The Hattiesburg American" in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Before the American, I was a staff photographer at "The Vicksburg Post" in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

I had two internships before becoming a full time staff photographer. One was a six-month-long gait at "The York Dispatch" in York, Pennsylvania. The other was a summer position at the "Jackson Free Press" in Jackson, Mississippi.

Photography is very important to me. It's my way to communicate, interact, and understand the world around me. I try to keep this up-to-date with pictures of the day, blog post, links, etc. Always feel free to get in contact with me.
